Do not just look in store: some furniture salespeople do not know the different between a loveseat, a couch, or a fainting couch, so it might be best to look elsewhere. Search online for loveseat sellers, there are sites all over the world that are dedicated solely to the selling of loveseats. It is hard to buy furniture online because you do not know how it looks or feels in real life, some places may send out a free sample of the fabric or might be able to direct you to where you can purchase the items in a physical store.
If you have found a loveseat that you like, bring your snuggle buddy along with you. Trust me; all of the fun of cozying up on a loveseat is removed if one person is uncomfortable. Try out the size and the shape of the seat, as well as the fabric. If the other person does not like it, do not get angry with thing, it just means that you both get to spend more time together shopping.
Everything in Proportion. Aside from being the right scale for seating in small rooms, loveseats are pleasingly proportioned in and of themselves. A sofa can appear long and ungainly. A loveseat rarely does. With a perfect balance of height and width, loveseats add a feeling of order and elegance to the design of a room. When used with sofas, they add a sense of balance to the seating arrangement. Sofas and loveseats often look better together than a sofa alone.
