Clean Spills Immediately
Microfiber sofas, if cared for, will stay very clean. Infrequently, they will still need a deep cleaning to remove any build-up of dirt and oils. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your specific sofa; the tag should tell you if you can use a water-based cleaner or if you’ll need a microfiber solvent. For more information about the difference between water‐based cleaners and solvent cleaners, read our guide on cleaning a sofa. Always apply cleaning products in an inconspicuous area of the couch first to test the color‐fastness of the material before cleaning your entire sofa.
