I hope some of the little tips above can help keep your 'leather sofa' healthy and functional. However, having a beautiful and well-maintained sofa is an investment. While still able to take good care, of course, we don't need to spend money to buy a new leather sofa. Good luck!

Leather furniture requires their regular preening (aka conditioning) to maintain their beauty and sheen. Thankfully, 'regular' in this sense refers not to a daily routine ‐twice a year is a good gauge.
Make Dusting and Vacuuming Your Couch or Sofa a Routine
Like with your housework routine, remember to spend a little time a week vacuuming (using soft sticks), or using a slightly wet cloth to wipe off the layer of dust that sits on the surface. A little diligence helps ensure against dirt and grime from accumulating and causing damage in the long run.
