Hi, homeowners! How do you do? White sofa and loveseats can destroy your ambiance just as fast. Cleaning a white sofa could be difficult, but it is an essential art to master if you need to incorporate any white, upholstered appointments into your decoration. Use your time and test out another method before you act to any course of action so that you can be sure that you will not increase the damage rather than repair it.

1. Vacuum the sofa.
This will eliminate dirt and particles that could turn in mud and dirty your sofa through the cleansing process.

2. Treat stains immediately.
Blot the spill with a clean cloth. Clean wine and coffee smudges with a baking soda and water paste apply the dough with a towel and let it sit for a few minutes. Then dab it off. Salt can be used to fresh red wine blemishes and then scraped off. The stain should come with it. Treating a grease and oil stain with corn sugar for 15 to 20 minutes ere vacuuming it will eliminate most traces of these darker stains.

3. Create a foam cleanser.
Put 1/2 cup powdered, mild washing detergent in a few mixing bowls. Add 1/4 cup of water. Use the electric mixer to make a foamy, whipped cleaning paste. If the dough is too watery, add a little more powder. If it is too stiff to beat, add water.

4. Wash the complete sofa with the foam cleaner.
You can implement it to the complete sofa with a lightly damp cleaning rag. Once you have treated an area of 1 or 2 feet, return and “rinse” the upholstery using a clean, wet cloth and the same dabbing motion. This will disinfect the sofa and lift any lingering dust or dirt.

5. Vacuum the sofa.
Once the sofa has wilted —this can get up to 48 hours— vacuum once more to be sure that you have raised all the cleansing agents out of the padding.

Tips :
Use the appropriate water temperature. Unless you are dealing with a blood stain or a stain from other bodily fluids, you should always clean with cold water. For blood, which is enzyme-based, you can use hot water.
Dab the stains while you are treating them. Never scrub a stain on a white sofa. If you wish, you wish to set or spread the stain more.
Repetition is key. If any cleansing step fails to yield the outcomes you want, try it again. Don't get exasperated and start scrubbing, though.
