The multi‐tonal nature of velvet means that in the end, it can add more than one colour to your room. To make sure you choose the part you like, try and see it under natural or artificial light before you do it. The atmosphere he creates in your 'living room' is also essential. If you are a fan of feminine design, pink velvet and perfect pastel, for a more dramatic look, try dark blue and forest green. If your style is eclectic? The orange velvet and mustard that are burned can be arranged to really stand out, or slightly peeled to feel medieval.
Have a velvet crush on the go? Try and moderate yourself. One or two statement sheets look much more striking than the living room where each soft piece of furniture is covered with sensitive items. If your place is busy, you might want to avoid a complete three‐piece velvet with matching footwear and accessories ‐it will thin the impact of your existing furniture. A single velvet sofa, a pair of velvet chairs or ottoman will work better ‐it will also create a natural focal point in your 'living room'.
Seating is an easy way to add velvet to your 'living room'. For a natural look, choose a muted sofa and armchair, accented with velvet pillows. Comfort and style: check, check. Velvet helps reduce geometric designs, making it a more attractive place for R & R. But the pieces with velvet suits are more organic, too ‐like an elegant recliner, and accent chairs with Nordic silhouettes.
