Make ladybugs with different numbers of dots on the back and hand them out. Have the children tell you how many spots the ladybugs have. Once the kids know the numbers, have them add the spots together on more than one ladybug. Subtraction is an option as well. This is something most every child in the U.S. has done at least once. Have the kids trace their hands with fingers extended. Use crayons, paints, glitter, etc. to draw and decorate the turkeys.
