The settee loveseat. This is completely different to the s-shaped loveseat and is actually simply a settee for only two people. Manufacturers who want to minimise costs without reducing the size of their range are building three seater sofas and settees, then making a smaller two seater version and calling this the loveseat. With many people now having less living area they are unable to fit in a sofa and two chairs, so the sofa & loveseat combo is being marketed as a possible alternative. Also the loveseat option is popular for those living with small rooms in cities.
Standard Loveseat Size. It seems easy, right? Sofas sit three people, loveseats seat two. Not so fast. You have more loveseat size options that you may realize. There is no standard loveseat size: some sit two, some sit just one; some are as wide as six feet, while others barely reach four. The assortment gives you choices for the perfect piece for your space.
Keeping the Room Alive. Matching furniture tends to date a room, so using mismatched pieces will keep your room from appearing old and unfashionable. Your living room is never finished; the space should take shape and evolve over time. When you're ready for a change, don't buy new furniture -- add slipcovers to modernize your room. Adding and changing accessories will keep the space fresh for both you and your guests.
