Make ladybugs with different numbers of dots on the back and hand them out. Have the children tell you how many spots the ladybugs have. Once the kids know the numbers, have them add the spots together on more than one ladybug. Subtraction is an option as well. This is something most every child in the U.S. has done at least once. Have the kids trace their hands with fingers extended. Use crayons, paints, glitter, etc. to draw and decorate the turkeys.
Other people may enjoy other types of cute graphics. Some may be just colorful and sparkly. That can be cute to a lot of people. Paint paper plates yellow or glue yellow construction paper or tissue paper onto them. For the mane you can swirl yellow, brown and orange paint in a plate and have the kids fingerpaint the mane onto the lion plates. Cut out eyes, nose, mouth and ears from templates or construction paper and glue on.
Make a garden, a mountain, river with boats, fishes and a wide mouthed crocodile. Draw a star, sing a rhyme on astronomy and let your child color all the pictures. Clap hard and praise well ignoring the mess. Draw an edge for them near the outline and tell them to color the hair in black, brown or golden. They will slowly become independent and present you a colored picture for approval. Outline alphabets, balls, houses, blocks and get them to know about magenta, turquoise and ash blue. Mix colors for them. Teach them to count and recognize words but end the revisions with coloring.
Print out a template of a lamb, cut the lamb shape out and glue it to construction paper. Put some dabs of glue on the shape and glue cotton balls to form a soft cuddly lamb. Black ovals and circles can be cut out and glued on for the ears and eyes.
