Without a doubt the biggest advantage of sectional sofas over regular sofas is that they are much easier to move. Not only can you carry them a piece at a time, but you are also generally able to fit them into a smaller apartment or area that otherwise could not take a sofa or couch. If you have a tight doorway, stairway or space, then a standard sofa is usually out. With a segmented sofa, the pieces are generally able to get through to tighter spots. This allows you to have a great option for even the tightest of living spaces.
Room. Because sectional sofas are usually larger than regular sofas, they are great when you have a lot of room to fill. Sometimes you might have a large space and just think a normal size sofa will look swallowed in a big room. The large sectional sofa will take up a lot of space, and you will not have to worry about how you will fill it later.
Leather is a beautiful furniture covering, but must be carefully considered based upon the intended use of the sofa sectional. Energetic and playful children combined with MAX the German Shepherd, might be better off playing on sectional sofa that is covered with a durable material that can be scotch guarded against spills, crayons, paint and other youthful messy play items. Consider leaving the Leather for the Great Room.
