Make ladybugs with different numbers of dots on the back and hand them out. Have the children tell you how many spots the ladybugs have. Once the kids know the numbers, have them add the spots together on more than one ladybug. Subtraction is an option as well. This is something most every child in the U.S. has done at least once. Have the kids trace their hands with fingers extended. Use crayons, paints, glitter, etc. to draw and decorate the turkeys.
We live in a world that is surrounded by all types of animals, creatures from all shapes and sizes, many of these creatures live in places that we as humans are not able to to reach, some creature have never even been discovered by man. We all love the excitement of been around the types of animals that are totally different to mankind and also creatures that are weird and huge in size and shape. We all see animals like elephants, giraffes, horses and many others on TV and in pictures, but been around any of these animals in person is really an exiting and unique experience.
One need not be a painter or blessed with a artistic bone to teach the child to color. Invest your time and be with the child. Toddlers have keen interest in colors. Water colors are best for holiday recreation. Get to a family 'painting Sunday' in the garden and have your breakfast along with coloring. Each person needs to color a picture. Ready pictures are available in animal prints, vehicles, body parts and cute daily life activities.
Pandas look so huggable. They have big eyes set in black sockets, round faces and pug noses. They tumble and play like cute little toddlers which make them more adorable. The Penguin's tuxedoed look is so cute. It's like they just had their clothes done in the best tailor shop in town. And the way they waddle is imply so awesome. They look specially cute when they are trying to grab the attention of a would-be mate.
Raccoons, with their masked faces and ringed tails look so charming. Their paws are believed to be as nimble as a man's hand. Though they look so adorable, they can be very destructive too. Baby Elephants look so cute especially when their trunks move high in the air. The way they flap their ears is very adorable too. Sure, mother elephants look good too, but they are too big.

Cover one end of an empty toilet paper roll with masking tape and insert a popsicle stick inside the other end and tape it on firmly. Put some small rocks, beans, or unpopped popcorn inside the toilet paper roll and cover the end with masking tape. Paper Mache the toilet paper roll and let the kids paint birds when dry. Orange construction paper may be used for the beaks.
