This is something most every child in the U.S. has done at least once. Have the kids trace their hands with fingers extended. Use crayons, paints, glitter, etc. to draw and decorate the turkeys. Cover one end of an empty toilet paper roll with masking tape and insert a popsicle stick inside the other end and tape it on firmly. Put some small rocks, beans, or unpopped popcorn inside the toilet paper roll and cover the end with masking tape. Paper Mache the toilet paper roll and let the kids paint birds when dry. Orange construction paper may be used for the beaks.
